#tbt - Next Live Brief

Before Christmas we had the opportunity to work alongside Next clothing in a live brief. Our brief was to design and make some t-shirts for Next. We worked in groups with Next designers to decide on the season, trends and to carry out current next trend research. I did some of my own trend research on WGSN and came back to the group to share ideas. We were all on the same wavelength and choose to focus on geometric shapes that had been picked up in a few of the trend, and bright bold colours. We developed our ideas together and picked 5 of the best and 2 to make into prototypes.

We had a photo shoot with our finished t-shirts before presenting our designs and ideas to our tutors and designers from Next. It was fairly terrifying but a very good and useful experience :)
