Final fabric shopping trip!

Although ebay has been my eternal friend for basics, like linens and cottons, there's nothing like going fabric shopping! I popped up to Birmingham to have a look in Barry's. I didn't find what I needed (but bought something for myself). So I came back to Leicester and went on a trek. Last year, I found out about Buxton Textiles, a high end fabric shop tucked away in the suburbs of Leicester. Last year, I was struggling to find the perfect shade of blue, I couldn't find it anywhere but Buxton have a massive colour selection so I was reassured that my trek wouldn't be a wasted one. I was after a light pink silk and as soon as I walked in I saw it. I breathed a massive sigh of relief. Just shows that you don't need to go to the big cities to find what you need!
