Definitely the last fabric shopping trip!

Okay, I lied! I completely forgot about one of my garments! I needed to find fabric for my regency dress! I wanted a sheer top layer and a linen or cotton as the base layer. I found a really gorgeous georgette fabric but unfortunately it was a polyester mix so not histriically accurate. It took a bit of digging and about 10 minutes to decide but I finally chose a silk chiffon. I’ve worked with chiffon before, but polyester chiffon which was a lot stiff than the silk version. I’m really dreading working with it but I suppose it’s good experience! I chose a lovely fine cotton lawn for the base layer too. Lovely :)
